In 1970 financial support came from legendary record producer Jimmy
Miller
and maverick music biz manager Tony Secunda
The studios were in Harley Street London West One
the tapes were air freighted to Nice, France
and broadcasts emanated from Monte Carlo...
The only way to
legally bring back this eclectic mix 24/7 on a readily available
platform will be to find similarly like minded philanthropists. How
difficult should it be to find a musically minded lottery winner, an
artist or artistes who have profited from the music biz? Surely
there is someone reading this who might know someone who could help
wake up the radio world from turgid playlists limited to 200 ex
chart hits... |
